Joshua Cascio writes the 60-Minute Power Reads Book Series, strong, soulful, practical books equipped with simple tools for real-life healing. With a background in science, nutrition, and mathematics, and years serving high-functioning special-needs students in grades 6–12, he’s known for turning complex ideas into simple habits that fit naturally into everyday routines. Designing useful, concrete tools for everyday life is his particular passion. He believes conversations can be life-giving, and he writes for believers, skeptics, and the just-curious alike. Some days he even notices the Face of God more clearly in people who don’t share his faith than in himself, one more reason his pages aim for humility, clarity, and hope.

A former collegiate national-level powerlifter who later coached and tutored, Joshua prefers practical solutions to empty talk and steady, clear, respectful words over drama or arguments. The gym, the classroom, and the kitchen table all taught him the same lesson: quiet faithfulness over time changes more than big speeches or quick fixes.

Rooted in a Eucharistic heart and grateful for the whole Body of Christ, Joshua has spent the past four years serving on the Catholic Charismatic Renewal board in the Diocese of Venice, Florida. In that ministry he is especially thankful for the guidance and friendships that have helped him recognize his charisms and learn how to use them more effectively for God and to fulfill what he believes is his God-given purpose in life. For more than fifteen years he has also served as a Fourth Degree Knight of Columbus, glad to stand shoulder-to-shoulder with men committed to quiet, consistent service. He reveres the Communion of Saints, especially the Blessed Mother, Theotokos, and finds steady unfailing help in the Rosary and the Brown Scapular.

A formative season in seminary life and early caregiving in his own family deepened his desire to stand beside real people in real battles, not above them. His pages are crafted with a craftsman’s attention to detail: original, honest, and hope-filled, always pointing toward Spirit-filled living that can quietly move mountains. Joshua has seen that when men and women walk in the Spirit, mysterious healing and deep clarity often follow.
